...flowers here, there, and everywhere...
I don’t buy flowers often but when I do, I make the best out of it. I can generally spread out one assortment of flowers into 4 or 5 smaller arrangements. It’s so nice to walk into every room and see lovely flowers smiling back at you.
Some day I’d like to take a flower arranging class. Does that make me a Stepford Wife? I guess I do live in Connecticut, weird….

a makeover for my boudoir
So, I go through phases in life were I fixate on my “need” for something. Most of the time these “needs” are completely fictional and unnecessary. This weekend my mother and I went on a culinary adventure, err, we made jam! Well, it came out as sort of an ice cream topping meets jam but it’s delicious non-the-less. I followed this recipe and think the flavors are fabulouso. The only alteration I made was adding raspberries to half of the batch. I’ll have to admit, I like the peach/raspberry combination more than just the peach....
